Jesus was welcomed into Jerusalem with jubilation, but soon after that he was
betrayed,
arrested,
denied,
tortured and
crucified.
Often in our relationships we are warm and hospitable but we can also betray, arrest, deny, torture and crucify one another.
Holy week is a good time
to do a bit of soul searching and
ask for the gift of personal transformation
so that we may be able to stop spreading anger,
violence,
death and destruction.
